“I completed 2 externship rotations with Dr Hanna and his wonderful office staff. Dr Hanna taught me so much during that time, not just clinical information but he showed me how to provide the care and compassion that is needed when being allowed to be someone’s care provider. He took the time to listen to each and every patient and family member, and taught me that we are caring for the whole person not just a symptom/or disease. I am so humbled to being given the opportunity to work with him and to put into practice what I learned”.

During the course of my training, I learnt quite a lot about chronic disease management and I knew I want to going to love caring for patient struggling with these diseases. When I interviewed with Dr Hanna and the office manager, Angie, there was an unexplainable peace I felt within. The clinic environment is welcoming as well. I really enjoy caring for the patients and their families. I have always believed that you cannot successfully treat a patient as a single person but with the family unit involved and that is something I have seen done here at The Vine Medical Center. Everyone treats each other as family.
